Objective of the Role:

To manage and develop the existing international retailers accounts whilst also proactively identify and develop new international business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Having already gained a foothold in the international market Oppo are looking for the International/ Export Sales Manager to join them and be responsible for:

  • Researching and developing new business with international retailers, agents and where necessary distribution partners to establish the Oppo brand within their markets
  • Continue to build strong relationships with the existing accounts ensuring further development and revenue growth
  • Developing, negotiating and agreeing joint business plans
  • Attending regular meetings with both new and existing clients
  • P&L responsibilities
  • Budget management
  • NPD, pricing, merchandising and plannograms

The role is suited to a FMCG sales professional who can demonstrate a proven track record in international sales, ideally gained within the food and drinks sector.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience of managing international retailer accounts
  • Able to give examples of opening new markets and business opportunities
  • Some understanding of trade marketing
  • Have built strong working relationships with buyers and senior decision makers
  • Great influencing skills coupled with clear and confident communication skills
  • Creative presenter and excellent negotiator.

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Food and Drink products
  • Fluency in German
