The key responsibilities of the Bid Writer role are writing and producing high quality bids for a competitive market.







Profile

The successful Bid Writer will have:
  • Must be a persuasive writing expert
  • Must be passionate, driven, looking to progress
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to produce compelling bid formats incorporating creative illustrations
  • Proficient Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint user
  • Knowledge of in-Design, Visio and Microsoft Project is advantageous
  • Minimum three years' experience in a competitive, commercial, bid/tender response environment.
  • Successful, track record, producing compelling bid, tender and proposal responses
  • Able identifying and communicate commercial and operational risks
  • Strong commercial background
  • Background within project management
  • A sound understanding of sales and marketing principals
  • Understanding of features, benefits and ability to differentiate offerings
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
