Looking for a new, fast-paced commercial career step with the opportunity for impact and influence? As Commercial Activation Manager in this role you'll bring exciting plans to life for major brands and drive volume/value growth at one of the top FMCG businesses in the market by creating and delivering in-year commercial channel plans for the Convenience Channel Business Unit. Working in the Commercial Activation Team you'll leverage their strengths within the channel and ensure that they have all the activation levers ticked (NPD launch excellence, promotional activation & optimisation, tactical promos) to deliver their commercial plans.



Key Responsibilities and KPIs

Leading the in-year course correction and gap filling process of the business plan.

Tracking key performance metrics, identifying key issues and facilitating the solutions.

  • In Year Commercial Review & Course Correction
  • Activation Owner
  • NPD Activation




Key Competencies and Skills

Commercial Acumen
  • Understanding of key commercial levers & P&L management, especially the impact of promotional changes on channel
  • Ability to use a wide variety of data sources, from which to analyse data and extract relevant insight


Building Relationships
  • Ability to lead and influence others to land commercial plans
  • Ability to engage stakeholders through strong presentation and communication skills


Delivering Results



The ideal candidate might be an FMCG NAM, coming from a National Account Manager sales background, or possibly customer development, commercial development, category management, trade marketing or commercial activation.
