Senior National Account Manager - Sainsbury's
One of Europe’s most successful ambient food businesses have created a new opportunity for a Senior National Account Manager to drive and further develop their presence within Sainsbury’s. Privately owned, the company currently turnovers in excess of £250m across the Retail, Wholesale, Foodservice and Business to Business channels. Following significant growth and several acquisitions, the business is looking to appoint an ambitious Senior NAM to develop their Sainsbury’s account.
As an Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of their Sainsbury’s account. Driving a portfolio of instantly recognisable brands will be key to this role alongside this you will be responsible for developing private label business. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you can expect decisions to be made quickly, as well as a degree of autonomy to drive the business.
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with 3-5 years’ experience of managing Sainsbury’s. As for product background, experience with private label food products would be preferred although not essential. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. The business is looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part of the company’s long-term plans and growth strategy.
Location – this is a homebased role, you will be expected to be in midlands based office 1 / 2 days per week.
