This is a Sales Account Manager, field sales BD role covering North East England and South Scotland selling branded consumer goods and products into the education and training sector.

This exciting role is to join a world leading branded FMCG company.

Description

The main responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager is to drive new business in the North East England and South Scotland region. Selling into the education sector, the role will involve expanding client base through field sales, lead generation, working to relevant KPI's and building strong relationships with existing and potential clients. This is a client relationship focused role, with a long sales cycle and very consultative sale.



Profile



The successful Sales Account Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Strong back ground in New Business Sales with over 2 years field sales experience
  • Preferably from a branded background
  • Experience in long sales cycle management: multi-part deals and selling solutions
  • Experience in relationship management and consultative sales
  • Account management and client relationship builder
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fitness and wellness product and solutions knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
  • Background in selling into the education sector, again advantageous but not essential
  • Imperative to work independent and incredibly well organised
  • Customer and process orientated
  • Honest, trustworthy and credible
  • Impeccable time keeping skills
