Working with premium furniture brand for a leading company the role involves working with an array of retailers in the South. A hands on exciting role for those with a passion for high end goods ,this role offers great progression opportunities.

My client supplies the mid to high-end sofa market, working with the likes of JLP and Debenhams. Through constantly acquiring leading brands they own an array of leading products which are globally renowned for their style and comfort.

With an array of styles, they rely on first class British design and service to stand out within a highly competitive market.



Description

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will deliver the sales and marketing strategy to grow a luxury brand within the South of England.

The role requires you to:
  • Plan and prioritise customer contact to achieve agreed sales and profit objectives.
  • Manage stockist policy, product mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  • Maintain a record of stockist and current floor stock within the area to grow the brand and market share.
  • Work closely with the retailer to develop a training programme to educate staff of the products, their offering and the brand message
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to maintain and develop relationships to grow the market presence.
  • Plan, carry out and support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales
  • Monitor and report on market and sales activities and provide relevant feedback and information.




Profile

The successful Business Development Manager will:
  • Have experience in field sales
  • Be experienced in selling home furnishing and interiors direct to retail
  • Be able to identify new business opportunities
  • Have previous experience working with the likes of JLP/ Debenhams (desirable)
  • Be Resilient
  • Be a team player
  • Be entrepreneurial and creative
