A highly regarded business in the drinks industry, supplying a variety of channels, are seeking an experienced Operations professional to lead the company through a period of critical growth.



The Organisation



Founded and owned by some of the most highly regarded professionals in the drinks space, the business has excellent supplier and customer relationships, with a diverse product portfolio. Supplying into multiple channels, the business has excellent relationships founded on the quality of their products and the quality of their service.



Working in a modern, bright office, you will report into the company's Directors and board. The business is keen to hire someone who is prepared to challenge current ways of working, suggesting improvements and contributing to broader commercial conversations.





The Role



As Operations Manager, you will be accountable for logistics, forecasting and customer service related responsibilities.

  • Managing a growing team, you will oversee and negotiate relationships with Third Party Logistics partners and Bonded Warehouse storage partners.
  • You will ensure that processes are compliant to HMRC standards and proactively manage stock forecasting to account for promotional activity and seasonal peaks.
  • By tracking and monitoring customer service standards, you will ensure a best-in-class service offering for all B2B relationships.






The Person

  • You will be an experienced Operations professional within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector, with previous experience of a holistic commercial operations role.
  • You will be prepared to get involved with activities at all levels of a business, providing a critical link between the front and back office teams.
  • Through an end-to-end Supply Chain approach, you will take accountability for mitigating risk and delivering a culture of continuous improvement.
