Strong National Accounts Manager position to Foodservice and Convenience retail

We are one of the leading manufacturers in the provision of bakery products to the foodservice sector.
Established for almost 100 years, we provide a comprehensive range of bakery lines including breakfast products, breads and patisserie.
Our creative NPD strategy enables our company to maintain a position at the forefront of our sector and we have a strong reputation for the quality of our products.
The breadth of our range enables us to work with end user clients across the foodservice sector but in recent years we have demonstrated particular success with hotels, restaurants, gastro-pubs and contract caterers.
We also have strong relationships with foodservice wholesalers across the UK, ensuring that our product availability and distribution network is second to none and allows us to provide consistent nationwide coverage.
Due to continued growth we are seeking to attract a National Accounts Manager to manage both Convenience retail and Foodservice clients.

This position is a fantastic opportunity to manage a portfolio of Foodservice and convenience retail accounts.
The role is 90% Account Management but also with responsibility to develop new accounts in these areas.
You will be responsible for managing 8-10 accounts at buyer level.
These accounts are all well-established, successful, trading accounts where you will be targeted on growing these accounts by introducing and winning new product lines.
The account base is varied and includes convenience retail, Foodservice Wholesale and Foodservice end user clients.
You will also be involved in working to briefs and liaising closely with our successful NPD team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced National Accounts Manager from within the foodservice sector.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in National Accounts Management within either the convenience retail or Foodservice channels.
• Candidates with experience of managing forecourt or symbol group accounts at buyer level will be of particular interest.
• Candidates with a proven track record a Foodservice NAM and an interest in managing convenience accounts will also be welcomed.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate strengths and success in managing end user accounts at Buyer level.
• Candidates must be excellent team workers with advanced relationship building skills.
