About The Role:
As a buyer you will work with suppliers to deliver affective agreements to deliver savings without sacrificing on the quality that our clients demands for its products. You will have experience in a buying role in a fast paced environment and utilise your experience to help our client continue on their impressive growth curve. You will work closely with team members to drive efficiencies through the business and look at buying ingredients/raw materials, capital expenditure, operations, services and other projects as required. This is not an average day-to-day buying and ordering role. You will need to have a real drive and passion to deliver in this role.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be dynamic, with a can-do attitude and be happy to get involved in a number of areas of the business to develop your skills and experience. Ideally you will have experience in buying raw materials, ingredients, produce and/or protein, but character and culture fit is more important. You will be a good negotiator and be able to build rapport with suppliers from all walks of life.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum you must be dynamic, a self-starter and have a can do attitude. You will be pursuing a career in procurement / buying and be keen to develop your own skills and experience.
