Salary: £55k – 65k + Package
Location: London

The Role:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain function with special emphasis on developing the  Demand & Supply strategy along with an optimized inventory strategy for the UK


  • Lead, manage and develop Demand & Supply Team within the country group
  • Responsible for managing the full Supply Chain operation
  • Managing the budget for the projects ensuring maximum efficiency
  • Monitoring the full production process across various sites
  • Drive Demand & Supply review for the country group with a 24 Rolling month.
  • Integrate Demand & Supply with Finance
  • Influence and collaborate with key partners in marketing, sales (field sales, corporate sales managers and directors) and finance and address input gaps as identified by forecast error review and other means
  • Work with various cross-functional teams on projects such as new product launches, line extensions and product discontinuations. Demonstrate sound business decision making aligned with company goals
  • Drive regular follow up on critical transfer projects
  • Support long-term strategy programs including asset changes, Sales strategy in coordination with the Master Planner leader & CG team

Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics / Supply Chain and Demand planning experience in the FMCG Industry.
  • Knowledge of Top 4 Retailers, processes and procedures is beneficial
  • Have worked with a multi-cultural team
  • Strong experience in SAP, having worked with APO or BW
  • Knowledge of QHSE systems and regulations
  • Commercial understanding of the consumer market and an ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills & keen eye for detail – numerate
  • Line management experience is critical for this role, with demonstrated ability to mentor and support the development of less experienced members of a team.
  • Proven experience of driving systemised improvements to logistics processes.
  • Demonstrable change management experience within the Supply Chain function.
  •  Sound decision making and problem-solving skills.
