National Account Manager – Top Four / Grocery Channel
Our client is a highly successful UK subsidiary, with its parent company in Holland, and already enjoys a substantial business with major UK top four grocery retailers. Its unusual business model means that far from creating difficulties, Brexit presents a number of additional opportunities to both further penetrate existing accounts as well as perhaps to target other Grocery retailers.
The company grows and processes its own range of chilled and ambient vegetable products, however a recent investment by the parent means they will now also be competing in other food categories as well. The future looks bright indeed !
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should already be an accomplished National Account Manager with experience of managing at least one of the top four retail accounts. Although not essential it would be something of a bonus if you have well-polished project management skills, in particular in the area of new product development. Although this is not a man management role, you should enjoy the gravitas to be able to lead the office team in various new product initiatives from time to time. Evidence of having been successful at this kind of project management in the past would be most welcome.
The role involves a substantial amount of travel including occasional trips to Holland, however you should also have easy access to the new office in Central London. You should therefore live either to the south and / or to the east of Oxford ( anywhere to the south and / or east of Oxford would be fine as long as you can get into central London without difficulty ).
In return for your dedication and effort, our client is paying a basic salary of between £46,154 to £55,859 plus bonus and car allowance.
