Our client is a major branded and own label producer based in the North East. Innovation and on trend NPD has left them well placed to capitalise on opportunities in the marketplace at present. Crucial to this will be the unification of the company message both internally and externally, providing the opportunity for an experienced Communications Manager to join the company to take the lead on this.
The successful Marketing and Communications Manager will have full responsibility for managing all internal and external communications, ensuring a consistent tone in line with company values. Key to this will be central liaisons with suppliers, company employees and consumers alike, and the ownership of the communications channel development project by which internal company communications are managed.
The successful Marketing and Communications Manager will be of graduate calibre with around 1-3 years’ experience of working in an FMCG company. You will be able to manage deadlines and company communications across the board, and be confident with copywriting. First and foremost however will be your ability to communicate with and influence others confidently and credibly, helping to develop creative solutions across the board. This central role will require the ability to be organised and driven whilst being able to set a long term strategy and effectively see it through to completion.
This Communications Leader position is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to extend their existing experience in a top FMCG company. There is both the challenge and potential to make a difference in a company that is looking to clarify its vision and position in the marketplace over the next 2/3 years.
