Launching a new brand into the UK multiple retail market



The Company:

A privately owned multi-channel pet food supplier with long standing reputation. Already with a strong portfolio of brands, they are about to launch a brand-new brand into the UK multiple retail market and seek an experienced National Account Manager to focus on new listings.

The role of Interim National Accounts Manager - Grocery:

This role will be offered as a three-month contract but could be extended or made permanent

The company has secured an exclusive distribution agreement with a pet trade brand that is very successful elsewhere but unknown in the UK. This brand has innovative and clear USPs that should ensure that it is listed in all multiple pet and grocery trade retailers as well as many high street stores, DIY sheds and convenience stores. 

This is a role that requires a real pioneer who can create excitement around this brand and win listings. 

Interim National Accounts Manager - Grocery:

We are looking for National Accounts Manager who is available immediately and has experience selling to grocery multiples, high street retailers, discounter or convenience stores

A keen negotiator and well connected you will have a proven track record of success in branded product sales.  Pet trade experience is not essential.

Specifically, we are looking for:

At least 5 years’ sales experience dealing with buyers in multiple retail groups 

A hunter who enjoys new business and winning new listings

A great communicator at all levels with excellent negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.

Highly self-motivated with the desire, enthusiasm, drive, determination, tenacity and ability to achieve results.
