The Role:With an even split between account management and business development, the successful Area Sales Manager will be calling on independent opticians and some multiples/groups. Speaking to business owners, practice managers and opticians, you will be selling fashion eyewear brands, together with accessories and POS merchandise to existing clients as well as being tasked with opening new accounts. A thorough training course will ensure your success and development within the company. This Area Sales Manager will have responsibility for the Scotland, North East England and Northern Ireland region.

The Company:Having developed a sales turnover approaching £20 million in just over a decade, our client is a dynamic and ambitious British firm also expanding globally. They hold several licences with top fashion design names and product a high-quality range of fashion eyewear. Now looking to recruit a new Area Sales Manager in Central Belt and North East regions to join their team.

For this Area Sales Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Must have sold FMCG products into retail
  • Proven track record of new business
  • Previous account management experience
  • Proactive and tenacious candidates with great relationship building skills

Benefits of this Area Sales Manager role:
  • £25,000 - £30,000 Base Salary
  • OTE £40,000 uncapped commission
