Account Manager | Chilled Goods| £To Attract the Best
Our client is a very highly respected and forward-thinking food manufacturing business based around the midlands area. They currently have an opportunity for an Account Manager to help one of their large divisions within the business. They are looking for someone with previous account management experience, who can bring a great deal of advice and talent to the team. They are ideally looking for someone with Chilled Food/Drink experience or experience in fresh produce and food service. This person would be based out of the North East 3 days a week and travelling down to head office occasionally in the Midlands.
Working with some of their key customers and ensuring their interests are maintained within the business at all times.
You will need to develop strong relationships with a range of buyers and keep them informed of all opportunities and challenges.
Working very closely with the internal procurement and operation teams, to maintain their outstanding service levels.
You will keep a close eye on the overall market and will aim to be the leaders in the category aiming to drive sales and grow.
You will have had an account management background and will have dealt with some of the major retailers (M&S and/or Waitrose would be an advantage).
Ideally your experience will be from within the Chilled/Short Shelf life sector, but if you can demonstrate that you can work at the required pace or FMCG, then this would be considered.
You will need to be hard working and have good attention to detail, as you will often be juggling a lot of tasks which are crucial to the business' success. So good communication and Microsoft office skills are essential.
