Our client is a successful Food Manufacturing business with sites all over the UK. The business is very much a leader in their product category. They supply Branded and Own Label products into the UK’s major retailers and foodservice establishments.

Business Manager – Foodservice
The foodservice channel is an area the business is looking to grow. The position is an appealing mix of account management and new business development.
Taking full P&L of Brakes account which is currently the largest in the portfolio. .
This role is an exciting opportunity to work within our New Channels team, looking after our existing Brakes business and also targeting new customers.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for one of the top coffee shop chains in the country as well as developing a contact strategy for new business.
Using your previous experience of food development, you will be working closely with our innovation team and our Food Service development chef to ensure we have the right products to retain a cutting edge in the sector.
What to expect
You will be working in a fast paced environment, responsible for achieving a multi-million pound budget, with full P&L accountability.
Managing and implementing a Joint Business Plan, whilst developing what the future looks like across your area, using your team and virtual team for support.
Getting out and about to create new business relationships within the sector, getting the team included within any tender process, and then the accurate completion of any tender required.
The position reports into the Business Unit Controller.
- Experience within food manufacturing.
- Proven track record of success managing foodservice (wholesale & end user) accounts on a national level.
- Degree educated.
- Full clean DL.
The position is home based with national travel.
