An experienced Procurement professional with strong leadership skills is required for a growing procurement function.

If you're looking for a true leadership role this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, branded business. I'm looking for an experienced Procurement professional to lead a team in ensuring that all of the procurement requirements for this complex, exciting and growing business are met. Your team will have budgetary responsibility for c.£120m across food, beverages and general goods and services, so not a role for the faint-hearted.

This role will design, develop and implement procurement plans in collaboration with the global and European procurement function that will drive down costs whilst enhancing the UK performance. Working in strategic partnership with the leadership team you'll drive forward procurement capabilities and initiatives through the management of your team working closely with internal stakeholders to really understand their requirements.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of purchasing experience in a high value/high complexity arena with demonstrable experience in category management and the development of strategic sourcing strategies. You'll need real gravitas and have first class negotiation and influencing skills gained through your experience of partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders.
