National Account Manager - Grocery & Foodservice
Our client is a market leading supplier of high quality ambient products. With almost 40 years of success behind them, they work with customers across retail, foodservice and manufacturing. Due to the continued success of their trusted portfolio of products, they are now experiencing exponential growth and are looking for a National Account Manager to join the team.
Reporting directly into the Managing Director, the National Account Manager will be accountable for growing the profitability across both existing and new customers. This role will encompass all aspects of the business, working with both retail and foodservice customers. To be successful in this role, relationship building is key. Each customer deserves a personal and tailored sales approach and this is something the National Account Manager should be able to provide. The successful individual will also be expected to work cross-functionally with other departments such as Supply Chain and Category, to ensure that the needs of the customer are first identified, and secondly met.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- 3+ years sales experience within the commercial retail sector
- Previous experience managing major UK retailers
- Strong influencer with good negotiation skills
- Excellent organisation and a keen eye for details
- Confident, can-do attitude
- Food lover!
This role will be office based in Surrey. Our client are offering a highly competitive salary package to the successful individual.
