National Account Manager

Our Client, an iconic Brewer and leading pub chain owner, is experiencing exceptional growth in this exciting category. Working for the Brewery Take Home Grocery Division, they are looking to expand their Sales team with a National Manager, reporting to the Controller, to manage 2 top retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for 2 grocery customer buying teams
  • Delivery of agreed volume and profit targets through management of promotional and trading investment.
  • Close identified distribution gaps and maximise off shelf feature
  • Execute core brand initiatives with each retailer
  • Develop a broad contact strategy with each customer across multiple functions (buying, marketing, supply chain)
  • Accountable for account specific forecast accuracy
  • Challenge and support internal functions to deliver the plan

Key Skills

  • Experience as an NAE or NAM  managing FMCG grocery national accounts
  • Good understanding and exposure of P&L
  • Self starter
  • Personable - Someone who goes the extra mile and looks to differentiate themselves from competitor account teams
  • Comfortable challenging with a solution focussed approach
  • Creative in overcoming challenges
  • Commercially savvy
