Brand Ambassador - Wine and Spirits

At E. & J. Gallo Winery our wines offer consumers a range of quality products at a range of price points. Not only are we the largest privately-owned winery in the world, but we are also the proud owner of New Amsterdam Vodka and Gin. As a household name to many, we are passionate about this business and the role we play in its success and we are looking for people who can share this passion. We are recruiting for an engaging and talented Brand Ambassador as part of our rapid expansion to drive sales within the UK independent retailers. So what actually is a Brand Ambassador? Glad you asked, well your fun but challenging task is to raise awareness and drive sales of The E&J Gallo Wine Brands including Barefoot and Dark Horse, as well as New Amsterdam Vodka and Gin brands. Driving sales volume, brand presence and availability within independent retail and cash and carry customers across the midlands and the northwest, you will also be responsible for key promotional activity and trade support with key accounts. Your responsibilities will be varied from new customer visits to point of sale merchandising, to driving growth via trade days and the occasional crew-drive on a national basis.

Your ability to communicate and build influence quickly with new and existing customers will be pivotal to your success so we're looking for amazing relationship builders. Educated to degree level or equivalent you must be passionate and outgoing ideally with some sales exposure, on trade sales experience or bar experience. We will also consider non-graduates with up to 4 years sales experience in a related industry. Motivated to over-achieve targets, you will have a commercial brain and previous experience working with drinks brands would be very interesting!

**A full, clean driving licence is also a prerequisite for this role
