Business Development Manager
Our client is a leading wholesaler and food distributor for the South of the UK. They work with over 600 customers, spread across the contract catering and cost sectors, including NHS trust hospitals, gastro-pubs and hotels. With access to over 4000 products across their range, our client covers all aspects of the food industry, from fresh produce to kitchen and cleaning essentials. Established in 2001, our client has made a huge impact on the market and is now experiencing exponential growth. Due to their rapid expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team.
The Business Development Manager will work across our clients entire portfolio of renowned brands, building long-standing relationships and maintaining existing ones. This role is an integral part of the commercial function within the business. The successful candidate will become the “go-to” person for existing and potential customers within their given territory, encompassing the companies brand in their approach. This role offers a huge level of autonomy, with the successful individual taking full accountability for the growth and profitability of their territory. As well as creating new relationships, this role involves a level of account management, making sure that existing relationships are given the time and attention needed to grow. This is an ideal role for a business development manager or executive who is looking for the chance to take greater ownership of their success’.

This role is field based in the South of the UK (Berkshire, Hampshire, Dorset) and offers a highly competitive salary package.
