Our client is a revolutionary player in the alcoholic drinks game, introducing exciting new brands and products to the UK market. They’ve established themselves in the industry over the last 50 years and distribute their products globally! Due to their continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a Regional Account Manager to develop and maintain their customer base in the North of the UK (from York to Scotland). This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and really make an impact in the drinks industry!

The role:

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for growing distribution and volume within their given territory, by building upon existing relationships whilst also creating new ones.  They will need to develop and execute a regional plan, ensuring that profitable gain is at the forefront of everything they do. This role offers a huge amount of autonomy, and the successful individual will have this freedom to develop and execute this plan as they see fit. The role will encompass all of the channels within which our client currently operates, both on and off trade, making this a unique opportunity to “own” the region, growing and developing the business across all key areas. This is a hugely rewarding role for an individual with the drive and passion to take control of the region.

The person:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Existing knowledge of On Trade customers is essential
  • Entrepreneurial nature with an ability to hit the ground running
  • Proven track record of winning new business
  • Ability to analyse and utilise data
  • Confident and outgoing
  • Ideally, WSET qualified but not essential

This role is field based in the North of the UK (York to Scotland) and offers a highly competitive salary package.
