Head of Marketing - Healthy Snacking Brand

Our client is looking for a Head of Marketing to join one of the fastest growing healthy snack brands in the UK with their products stocked in most of the top retailers in the UK, including: Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Holland & Barrett, Ocado, as well as various territories abroad in Australia and several European markets. Having been set up with a shared passion for the healthy snacking category they are now an award-winning company with a fantastic high-end product who are looking to make a real impact in their market.

Having received sizeable investment and with ambitious expansion plans in the pipeline the company have singled out this new Head of Marketing as their most strategically important hire to date. In this role you would be taking over complete ownership of the brand, including all strategy. You will also be leading all NPD projects, with some exciting new products and flavours in the pipeline which you would be managing from the outset. In addition, an important aspect of the role will involve providing guidance and marketing plans to distributor markets (Australia, France, Germany, Benelux, Sweden, Ireland). You will be reporting directly into the CEO and as a senior member of the team you'll also be involved in the monthly board meetings. You will be line managing 2 direct reports in this role so having the gravitas to lead a team will be essential, and ultimately shape and grow the team further as needed.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in an SME/start-up food or drink company and be bright, ambitious and willing to contribute your ideas to the team in order to take the brand to the next level. It is important to have also had experience in developing marketing or brand strategy, as well as executing it. People management would also be highly preferable. Our client is flexible on salary, for them it's more about getting the right person in.
