The Company: This heritage brand name has been manufacturing and exporting high quality pet food across the world for over 100 years. With an exciting growth strategy in place, the role of a Business Development Manager has arisen due to exponential growth within the business.
The Role: This Business Development Manager role will see the successful individual manage sales through the independent pet shops and large wholesale channels. Covering the North of the UK, you will manage a small number of existing accounts worth over £500k in sales. Responsible for promotional activity, tactical marketing, brand positioning, stock control and relationship management, you will be given total autonomy to develop relationships across the board.
The Person: The ideal candidate will have a background in working for a branded FMCG product, with senior level sales responsibility of accounts - specifically with independent retailers or wholesalers. Strong relationship building skills are essential, alongside an eager attitude with credibility and professionalism.
- £30000 - £35,000 Basic Salary
- +10% Bonus
