Established for over 20 years my client is a hugely successful distributor of a range of catering products selling to customers throughout the foodservice sector. An ambitious company that has grown year on year, becoming the number one supplier in their sector.
My client is now looking for an additional sales person to cover Oxfordshire, selling predominately to existing customers including high profile sites like the Oxford University campuses.
You will be tasked with ensuring your accounts are aware of all the products available, up-selling and range selling, maximising the account spend.
The role will involve working with an internal sales team following up new enquiries, managing existing customers. This is a role that requires a high level of activity meeting up to 10 customers on a daily, ‘order making’ not just ‘order taking’.
Candidates will be self starters who have drive and enthusiasm. It is important candidates are strong relationship builders able to build rapport quickly with a large account portfolio.
Ideally candidates will already have sales experience in the catering equipment foodservice sector as there are some very established high spend accounts on patch.
Candidates with strong B2B sales backgrounds may also be considered, for example from the coffee, vending and drinks sector or office supplies and advertising.
