National Account Manager – Branded Housewares.
Our client is already an established market leader in America, and is now set to take the UK by storm with its very attractive, design led range of housewares, kitchenwares and household plastics. Although the company is relatively new to the UK market, they already have agreements with some of the major grocery multiples and also department and household stores, so you will not be starting from a zero base. There are however many other exciting opportunities across the UK retail channel, and part of your brief will be to exploit those opportunities to their best advantage. The company has also recently committed to a substantial investment into the UK, including the opening of a new showroom and offices in central London. The role is home based, however you should be in a position to get to the London showroom about once each week, so to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should ideally live to the south and to the east of Northampton.
Your experience to date could have been gained in a household or homewares category, and you will be an experienced operator within the UK retail channel ( selling to either top four grocers, or department stores or specialist housewares stores or multiple garden centres ). You will already understand the mechanics of P & L, and how to manage a category, as opposed to selling in a single item.
In return for your effort and dedication, our client is prepared to pay a salary of between £41,028 to £50,089 plus bonus and company car. Career prospects are excellent.
