Our client already has an enviable reputation for vegetables into the foodservice channel, however there is considerable scope to now penetrate the retail channel as well ( in particular top four grocery chains such as Adsa, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrisons ). This, coupled with a substantial investment by the parent company in Holland means the time is right to take the UK retail market by storm.

The role is to support an existing National Account Manager, but potentially with some individual account exposure as well. The job will be busy and wide ranging including the preparation of category plans, joint business plans, insight data and promotional plans, so it’s essential you can juggle with many balls at once. You should have a good working knowledge of Powerpoint, Office and Excel please .

You should ideally have some kind of sales or commercial exposure, perhaps as a junior National Account Executive or an internal Sales Support person. The job is based in Spalding so you will need to be within daily commuting distance of the office. It is the intention for the company to employ somebody with the ambition to learn and grow and potentially become the next national Account Manager.

In return for your dedication and efforts, or client is prepared to pay a competitive basic salary of between £24,128 to £33,489. Career prospects are excellent for the right individual.
