The company:

A market leading manufacturer of high quality, branded stationery products, our client is a well respected and major player in the stationery industry.

The role:

Due to an upcoming retirement, my client is looking to add to their long serving and successful sales team. As territory manager for the South East, you will be responsible for managing sales to independent retail and online customers as well as regional key accounts across an area covering London, Middlesex, Surrey, Kent and Sussex. Your primary objective will be to manage an already well established and profitable territory with the objective of maintaining and increasing turnover from existing customers whilst also actively sourcing and open new accounts. Customers will include independent stationers, arts and craft specialist retailers, newsagents, toy shops. post offices and online resellers, amongst others.

The person:

An experienced field sales professional, you will be currently operating within the FMCG sector, be self motivated, driven, organised and results orientated person with a positive outlook. Mature in attitude, trustworthy and comfortable in dealing with buyers.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of selling either food or non-food FMCG products to independent retailers with experience of the stationery, arts and crafts, toys or related industries being a distinct advantage.

Living on territory, the ideal location will be based around the Thames Valley/M25 region.

In addition to the above you will be computer literate, able to use packages such as PowerPoint and Excel.
