Assistant Procurement Manager

Role: Assistant Procurement Manager
Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 (dependant on experience)
Location: Bedfordshire

A fresh produce company in Bedfordshire is currently in the search for an Assistant Procurement Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with assisting the procurement team for positive future growth, maintaining strong relationships throughout; ensuring processes are cost-effective and efficient whilst delivering for the customers on time and in full. The successful candidate must be fluent in Spanish and have experience in the commercial side of fresh produce.

Responsibilities:
·Getting the best price and quality for purchases
·Developing good relationships with suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly.
·Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
·Managing systems
·Oversee stock management and waste levels for all categories
·Maintain clear scope for future innovation

The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining standards and efficiency, utilising strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
