Senior Buyer - Leisure and Hospitality
Your new company
Our client is a leading player in the Leisure industry, with an informal and vibrant working environment and an ongoing commitment to provide their customers with an unforgettable experience every time they visit one of their sites. They sell a wide variety of food and beverages (both licensed and non-licensed) and are looking for Senior Buyer to manage the procurement function across all categories.
Your new role
The job holder will be required to take responsibility for developing the range via the management of supplier relationships, cost price negotiation, developing new ranges with both pre-existing and new suppliers. You will also work closely with the marketing team to drive promotional activity and continually look for ways to maximise the spend of the customer on each visit
What you'll need to succeed
Ideal applicants for this role will have Buying or Procurement experience in a Retail, Leisure, Hospitality or Food-service environment, but we will also consider a wholesale background. However, what is essential is that you have a confident communication style, outstanding negotiation skills and a can do personality. You will also need to be able to demonstrate outstanding planning, organisational and commercial skills as well as excellent influencing abilities
