We are working with profitable and highly-respected business within the British fashion sector. The brand is synonymous with design and quality and combines contemporary styling with traditional influences.
This role will continue the growth and development of the European business and focuses on the management of distributors and key retail accounts in Europe, especially in France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Russia and Poland. The successful candidate for this role will be capable of engaging confidently with a sophisticated client base and building strong relationships with key partners. The role requires strong commercial understanding, the ability to plan for the future, and the drive to achieve strong Export sales growth.
A successful, profitable and fast-growing accessories business with a passion for contemporary trends and classic style. This ambitious business has identified that future growth of the company will disproportionately come from outside of the UK, building on the significant success already achieved in the European marketplace.
The company will pay a basic salary of £40,000-45,000 depending on experience. In addition a performance-related bonus and benefits package will be provided. Ultimately the company will create a package designed to attract the selected candidate.
The company wishes to recruit an experienced international sales professional with a background in the fashion sector. Suitable product sectors include apparel, footwear, sportswear, accessories, jewellery, cosmetics and watches.
As a prerequisite you will have prior experience in an Export Sales Manager / Export sales Executive role. You will have a background in international distributor management and ideally will have some experience of selling directly to European retail.
You will need to undertake European travel (perhaps one trip per month).
This is not a home-based role. The Export Sales Manager will work from the office in Central London when not travelling in Europe.
