Due to an internal promotion, my client is looking to recruit a Key Account Manager. This is an opportunity to work for a well-recognised Publishing company offering excellent career progression opportunities. The aim of the role is to develop the business by working closely with Key National Accounts such as Waterstone’s, WH Smiths and some of the major Garden Centre Groups. Identifying New Business opportunities aligned with the company’s overall ambition will also be an integral part of the role.
- Full P&L responsibility over the inherited account base
- Forecasting end of year projections for accounts
- Analyse retailers to identify additional opportunities
- Implement actions to drive sales and profit
- Identifying industry changes
- Sales reports
- Develop new business
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in a sales role ideally operating in the Publishing industry. Culturally, the company is proud of its caring and nurturing values. Sales & negotiation skills are essential as well as being inter-personal, analytical & confident.
