My client is a successfull and well established growing FMCG company who have been operating since the early 1970s. My client has a annual turnover of £18million last year and is projected to reach £42million this year. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Area Sales Manager to join their expanding team/
Description
The Area Sales Manager sits within a team reporting to the National Sales Manager. With an already well established account base, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Achieving growth within the region through existing accounts
- identifying new business opportunities to drive sales forward
- identify new businesses within the territory
- Maintaining excellent customer service through achieving assigned sales targets through understanding the clients needs and consumer trends.
Majority of customers sit in Essex and Cambridge so the ideal candidate would live near there but would be open to looking at candidates based in the south that could easily get to Essex or Cambridge
Profile
The successful Area Sales Manager
- Sales experience in white goods would be an advantage, with a proven ability to achieve sales targets
- Proactive & self driven
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Build strong relationships at all levels across commercial, merchandising, marketing and finance teams
Job Offer
£35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Fantastic Package
