The role itself: A mission to bring a lifetime of healthy eating to little ones means that Piccolo is all about innovation and pushing boundaries. Our commitment to true innovation with fantastic healthy new products for babies and toddlers is at the very core our mission to encourage healthy eating from the start. You will be living and breathing that mission when exploring new opportunities and taking care of our existing range.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Managing and improving our supply chain and operational processes
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Ensuring availability of stock whilst managing working capital
  • Working to and setting stretching service level, stock and working capital targets
  • Working closely with NPD team to support setup of new suppliers and logistics
  • Ensuring full supply chain compliance with all customers

Attributes

  • Minimum 12 months experience within operations
  • Customer facing and thrives on real ethical relationships with suppliers
  • A passion for operations and logistics with a real attitude towards continuous improvement
  • Great multitasking and organisational ability
  • Excellent numerical ability with a head of numbers and detail

In summary …. 

You’ll be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have gained experience within operations within the FMCG sector, in food or beverages, and have worked with suppliers and customers.

Enthusiastic, pragmatic and resilient, and lots of fun to be around, you’ll have experience of working with a multi-level, high performing team and can demonstrate your agility to transition at pace between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. You’ll be confident to articulate hard facts, and be an engaging and persuasive communicator to your colleagues and argue your point. You will have an entrepreneurial mind-set, with a balance risk taker approach.
