Territory Managers x 2 – Garden Centres.

£27,589 - £30,012 Basics plus commission plus a company car

Our client, a well respected and successful leader in the field of branded gardenware / household plastics, has retained us to identify and recruit two outstanding individuals to manage their South East / London area, and also the north of London territory from London up to Cambridge. The company acts as both distributor and manufacturer with its own manufacturing facilities in the Far east. It has also been the beneficiary of a substantial cash investment from its parent company in the USA in order to facilitate the penetration of the UK market. The company has been trading here in the UK for ten years, so although there is a solid existing account base on both of the areas, there is also massive potential in terms of non trading accounts / new business, and it is expected that the role will focus as much on new business generation, as much as on maximising existing business.

Candidates can come from any product sales background but to be considered for this role, it is essential that you have had good exposure to independent garden centres in the area in question. Experience of selling into gift shops and /or card shops and / or department stores would also be an advantage but is not essential. It is essential however that you are able to self manage and operate with the considerable autonomy required to fulfil the requirements of the role.

The role is home based and you should ideally live within 50 miles of the central UK office near Luton.

In return for your dedication and effort, the company will provide a generous basic salary of between £27,589 and £30,012, plus commission plus a company car. Career prospects are excellent.
