The role
As the Area Sales Manager you will manage, coach and support your team of direct reports to achieve set company targets. You will develop a deep understanding of your market dynamics and customer strategies with the objective of identifying more opportunities for the brand portfolio. You will work closely with the National Account Managers to ensure that the National business plan is implemented and executed at the highest standards from depot to store, by your team. You will own the P&L for your area of customers, driven by your team within Wholesale, convenience and impulse channels.
To succeed in this role you must be able to show your leadership capabilities as your team will be made up of enthusiastic, driven individuals that are hungry to progress!
The ideal fit:
•Have experience in a National Account Manager role Regional Sales Management or equivalent
•Ideally this will be your first line management role to gain some breadth with the idea to go or get back into National Account Management
•Be motivate and highly resilient
•Be able to lead and inspire through effective, clear and articulate communication
•Demonstrate being able to work within a fast paced environment
•Proven track record of ‘first class’ execution
