Area Sales Manager/Representative

The Company:  King Cole is a leading supplier of knitting yarn and haberdashery with associated products to the independent retail sector.  The company is a leader of new designs and yarns within the industry.

The Role:  Due to the retirement of the current long-standing area sales manager/representative the company seeks to plan a smooth transition period. You will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of business within the area.  This will be through existing customers and also prospecting for new business. You will be responsible for the “day to day” management of your area, organising and preparing visits to customers, so the ability to communicate with a wide range of people is crucial.

You must have experience of selling to independent retailers, though experience of selling tactile products is helpful but not essential.  Full training will be provided.

The Applicant:  A motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with strong communication and personal skills whilst being pleasant and approachable.  Candidates must have a full UK driving licence.
