Export Sales Manager
This is a great opportunity to join an established FMCG business with a reputation for producing high quality products. Their brands have established a loyal following, they have strong Marketing and Logistics and they continue to invest in their future. Their experienced senior management team has identified further opportunities for growth Internationally and they are now looking to recruit an additional Export Sales Manager.
You will take responsibility for growing sales and profits with a portfolio of Export customers. In addition you will research new opportunities in new markets and appoint distributors and retailer partners who will work with you to establish your brands in their markets. You will develop business plans with each customer and be comfortable negotiating and agreeing joint initiatives. You will receive considerable autonomy and be expected to make decisions, roll up your sleeves and get things done.
You must have Export Sales experience, strong commercial and negotiating skills and ideally knowledge of the FMCG sector. You have good knowledge of International business and you are comfortable managing the entire process including sales, logistics, shipping, agents, buying and customer services. This is a varied and busy role where you will work with colleagues at Head Office and where necessary travel Internationally to markets. You are now looking for a role with the autonomy and freedom to make a difference and also be valued as an important part of a team.
