Account Manager | Fruit | Spalding | £Very Attractive

Our client is a very well known, international fruit importer and distributor working with a number of well known retailers. We are helping them source a brilliant account manager to join their team and work closely with the Senior Commercial team on some of their most important accounts.

The Role

Working in one of their key fruit categories, you would be taking over some of the more senior level accounts and taking some of the responsibility from the incumbent Commercial Manager onto your shoulders. This role would see you facing not only suppliers as well as customers, building relationships that will enable you to become an intricate part of the team and build on the rapid progress this business has achieved.

The Candidate

To take on such an interesting and varied role we would love to hear from candidates who possess the following skillset:
Experience within fruit is ideal but the client is open to more general fresh produce experience also with a minimum of 5 years spent in the industry, working with retailers.
Great rapport building capabilities and communication skills that will help you slot in as an active member of the team.
A flexible approach to work and great time management capabilities will see you able to take on specific activities passed on to you as well as day to day account management.
