About the role

We are looking to recruit a Secondary Educational Sales Consultant to sell our highly regarded and successful range of secondary publishing into schools. 
 
As a Secondary Educational Sales Consultant, you will have full training to ensure that you gain a thorough understanding of current teaching practice in order to offer practical solutions to teachers current curriculum needs through our range of products and resources. This position is home based and the sales territory is Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of Berkshire.

Please note: this role is a term time working only fixed term contract for 6 months (maternity cover) to start as soon as possible, with the possibility of extension.

About you

The successful candidate will be:

• Ideally based in or around the territory (Herts/Bucks/Berks)
• Pro-active, driven and self-motivated
• Able to work on your own initiative
• Able to demonstrate excellent consultative sales, presentation, and networking skills
• Computer literate

Desirable:

• Appointment making experience
• Knowledge of the Secondary education market

This is a fast paced and exciting full-time during term-time role but, like teachers, the school holidays are your own. Extensive travel around the territory is required.
