The Company:
We are thrilled to be working with a growing FMCG company who are rapidly expanding across the UK from their base in Edinburgh.
In order to support this growth the company would like to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to take full control of the entire supply chain including planning and customer service.
The Opportunity:
Managing the entire supply chain budget and reporting to the Supply Chain Director this role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take on this newly created role and impact the future Supply Chain strategy for this business.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
• Management of the Planning Team ensuring all orders produced on time and stock locations are managed effectively
• Responsibility for the Customer Service team and the cost effective delivery of all product to market
• Assist with bringing new customers on board and building relationships across the Supply Chain
• Optimisation of existing processes to maxmise value through effective analysis of OTIF, sales volumes, PO`s vs forecast
• Challenge markets on sales vs forecasts for disciplined supply and demand planning
• Supplier reviews and relationship management
The Person:
An enthusiastic Supply Chain professional with a proven track record successfully initiating and managing Supply Chain improvements.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Supply Chain management position
• Experience of managing both a busy customer service team and a deadline driven planning team in a high presseure FMCG environment
• International freight management expertees
• Educated to degree level
