A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Global Demand Planner to join my client a market leading, dynamic and fast paced FMCG business based in London. The business is going through a phase of growth and so have created this new role to help. Their culture is diverse and lively and are invested in developing their employees.

As the Global Demand Planner you will be responsible for leading and developing the Regional demand capability centrally. You will be working cross functionally with senior stake holders and the sales teams.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop Demand, Supply and Innovation business recommendations based on global regional insights.
  • Utilise statistical techniques and software tools to analyse sales history, promotional data and inventory levels to predict future market trends as accurately as possible.
  • Feed and lead the S&OP Process to integrate Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance Strategies into one picture for the leadership teams.
  • Coordinate Demand Planning actions related to New Products Launched, Discontinuation process, phase in - phase out, inventory reductions, excess and obsoletes reductions.
  • Support and drive improvement projects (process, tools, systems etc.) with implications on the markets.
  • Working with the regional demand planning teams to ensure effective end-to-end demand planning and forecasting performance.
  • Ensure that the forecast of each launch is properly entered in the systems by the BUs and follow the evolution of the demand


The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven progressive experience in Supply Chain or related field to that includes management of Demand/S&OP processes.
  • Previous SAP and Demand Solutions experience preferred
  • Experience managing external relationships
  • Is able to lead the change and influence people at varying seniority
  • Strong IT and analytical skills as well as good knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process improvement mentality
  • Good leadership skills
