The Company: One of the UK’s leading furniture manufacturers, providing kitchen and bathroom furniture into the new build and affordable housing sector as well as offering a selection of retail brands sold into independent retailers throughout the country. Based in Yorkshire they are a British manufacturer with a reputation for quality craftsmanship.

Job Description: Recruiting for a Business Development Manager to cover the South West, developing the client base with Affordable Housing clients, e.g. Local Authorities and Housing Associations, focusing on new build properties, as well as the Contractors that they appoint to carry out the work. Often the Contractor will have the authority to choose suppliers, therefore developing and nurturing these relationships is key. You will be promoting the product / service proposition, maximising revenue and margin through proactive selling techniques, adding value and meeting customer expectations.

The Person: Ideally you will be a recent graduate, with 2-3 years experience in field sales. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving and exceeding targets, with good business acumen and commercial awareness. A relationship builder with the motivation to work autonomously, and the drive to help grow the business over the next few years.

Salary Details: Basic salary of £30,000pa - £40,000pa dependent on experience. The opportunity to earn an additional 40% in bonus.
