Our client is a well established, values led, branded consumer goods business enjoying a period of rapid expansion. Being the fastest growing brand in their category has resulted in the need for an Assistant Brand Manager to support the Marketing Manager in the execution of the marketing plan.

The key remit of the role of Assistant Brand Manager is to assist the Marketing Manager in the delivery of the marketing plan to drive brand awareness, brand value growth and long term brand equity.

Key responsibilities:
  • Working with agency partners, ensuring all activities are delivered on time and to budget, evaluating the output against pre-set KPI's
  • To utilise category and consumer data, translating these into sales stories, trends and insights that help to guide the brand strategy, new product development opportunities and a picture of the brand health.
  • To manage the website content and all relevant social media channels to ensure content is rich, engaging and constantly updated to achieve engagement and growth KPI's
  • To manage the organisation of all brand events and exhibitions.
  • Marketing campaigns both ATL and BTL to include trade, consumer and PR.


The ideal candidate will have at least one years experience in a comparable role, ideally gained in a consumer goods business. You will have a good understanding of the principles of brand management and will be able to demonstrate your campaign management experience. You will be a good project manager with the ability to multi task and prioritise your work load. Strong financial and analytical skills are a must have and you will be a confident communicator with great copywriting skills. Candidates with experience gained in any sector will be of interest, providing you have the relevant marketing skills.
