About The Opportunity:

Senior National Account Manager - Grocery / Health

Outer London

This Senior National Account Manager position will be their most strategic Grocery hire, playing a little in convenience, developing some of their large convenience multiples in Coop.  

They've made huge investment in category and shopper insight, allowing them to take the focus back to the consumer using added detail. This means they are more effective than their rivals, acting like a category captain to UK retail customers. 

Working alongside the General Manager and with daily Board level interaction, you'll manage the P&L and have the commercial acumen to challenge positively, with input into the 4 year plan to maximise the account's potential and business revenue performance. 

It's a family owned business and despite having some leading industry figures spearheading the new growth strategy, they are very keen on retaining the positive and family feel ethos. The team works hard but always make time for after work socialising if people can make it! 

 

About You: 

We're seeking a talented National Account Manager/Senior National Account Manager who's looking for the opportunity to progress quickly and take control of your career in a supportive and developmental business. Realistic opportunity to be Channel Head/Controller in 8-12 months across top 4 grocery. 

Essential Experience:

  • Grocery National Account Management is vital.
  • P&L exposure.
  • JBP & promotional calendar full exposure.
  • Experience of close collaboration with Category Management and Shopper Marketing Teams.
  • Previous experience of building and maintaining strong internal relationships at senior level.
  • Brand building and revenue growth examples.
  • Strong sales track record.
  • Not be afraid to push back internally and externally and bring your ideas to the table.
  • A real hunter attitude to develop existing and forge new customer relationships. 

 

Nice to have's:

  • Convenience & Discounter experience.
  • Pharmacy & Personal Care experience.
