Super consumer product business looking for a Senior National Account Manager on Tesco & Tesco.com. They've gone through an incredible amount of investment & transformation with new senior level people joining the business from some of the biggest names in the world.

About The Opportunity:

Senior National Account Manager - Tesco

Outer London 

  • £60,000 - £65,000 Basic Salary

You'll have the opportunity to work across all categories, being the key interface with the customer and spending lots of time as a Tier 1 supplier. This is a great step up for a NAM as it gives you exposure to the senior Leadership Team and fast progression routes to Sales Management.

You will be fully responsible for taking strategic lead from UK perspective for Tesco. You will be heavily involved with the all buying meetings and will be allocating marketing budget and managing your full P&L. 

This is the businesses #1 Account so requires a certain level of gravitas from the Senior National Account Manager. You'll be required to lead from the front and work well both internally and externally in this very competitive category.

With at least one direct report this is a real key hire, the account is in a fantastic place and needs bi-weekly meeting with Buyers to make sure JBP is adhered to with the businesses category captaincy status.

About You:

As a Senior National Account Manager with these guys you will need; 

  • FMCG experience with buyer interaction
  • Experience & success in Games, Toys, Entertainment or wider consumer product industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Grocery
  • Proactive, passionate, keen to learn, team player
  • Excellent communication skills - able to communicate ideas concisely and confidently
  • Demonstrate competence in data analysis Kantar, IRI etc.
  • Possess exceptional IT skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • The ability to deal well with ambiguity due to the constant change
  • Drive to progress and progress quickly
