WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as Category Executive, you will work within an energetic business team by doing the following:

  • Support Category Management across customer teams to increase sales and achieve customer business targets.
  • Complete relevant customer and brand reporting and analysis to identify insight that drives our business performance.
  • Customer responsibility on impulse, convenience type accounts. Supporting the account manager by building category stories.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be an expert on your category area, working cross functionally with sales teams, marketing and commercial strategy to champion ideas that drive Kellogg's and Category growth.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE? 

At Kellogg Company, we place a huge emphasis on recruiting the best people to help grow our business and build on our success. As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Category Management, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required

  • Previous FMCG experience within Field Sales and/or Head Office
  • Specific interest in category management  and branded products
  • Experience of working within a team and ability to manage different priorities
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to influence people with an external and consumer focus
  • Strong numerical understanding

Preferred

  • Category Management experience
  • Experience with using IRI, Kantar or Neilson
  • Business related degree or equivalent

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

There will be periods of time where you will be required to travel away from home, specifically during range review times.
