Junior Packaging Buyer | Fresh Produce | Graduate

We are looking to bring in a talented graduate or entry level supply chain professional to join an innovative agricultural and fresh produce business, one of the largest suppliers in the UK. This business farms internationally and provides a range of products into the UK market.


The Role

We are looking to add a Junior Packaging Buyer to their experienced team, working under the Packaging Manager. You will be responsible for both internal and external suppliers and their relationships with the business. The key factors of success in this role will be liaising across functional teams to ensure that all parts of the business are serviced well and build internal and external relationships to ensure a good flow of materials, delivering on SLA's (Service Level Agreement) and KPI's (Key Performance Index).



The Candidate

To be successful in this role we are looking for:
A certain level of experience in the fresh produce sector or FMCG to help you deal with the fast paced nature of the business. Also giving you an insight into what can effect quality in the business.
An understanding of packaging or the materials used. Some insight or a desire to learn this part of the business will go a long way.
A great rapport building attitude and the ability to build great relationships with others in the business.
