Job Details

The Buying and Merchandising division of Exsurgo is recruiting an Allocator for an exciting global retail organisation.

 

The role

The role of Allocator will be to develop, execute, and communicate tactical distribution plans that support the merchandising, marketing, and financial objectives of the assigned product group. You will ensure the financial success of the product group by meeting or exceeding sales, gross profit, and inventory turnover goals on an annual basis. You will recap and communicate size selling performance in order to maximize sell through and track and monitor DC available inventory for the product group, maximizing sales to stock ratios and turnover. You will execute the release of initial product distributions and in-season replenishment to stores in line with the stores planned size ratio. You will work with cross-functional teams on basic styles reorder and in-season replenishment to support desired in stock targets.

 

The ideal Allocator:

The successful individual will be educated to A Level and degree level and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages to a high standard. You will be able to work on your own initiative and to be pro-active. You'll be able to organize and prioritise, demonstrating logical analysis and problem-solving skills. You will have knowledge of sales/stock ratios, ability to provide strategies to achieve store and product turns and understand distribution strategies and how to execute them. You will possess a thorough working knowledge of distribution systems and spreadsheets and show ability or aptitude in retail math, and to learn technical applications quickly.
