We are currently looking to recruit a

UI/UX Designer to work at our head office in Leeds. In this role you will work directly with our Global and Local ecommerce and digital teams and be a part of the Direct to Consumer product design life cycle, from sketches, conceptual wires to designs and their development. Your role will contribute to all aspects of design: visual, user experience, product and interaction. You will work on our entire suite of digital products within the Direct to Consumer channel, including desktop, mobile web, tablet, and mobile apps (iOS & Android).



Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Working closely with designers (internal and external) and engineers to define interface and user requirements
  • Analyzing, mapping, and optimizing user flow
  • Owning features and experiences from initial concept to released product
  • Developing new approaches to complex interface and UX problems, and conveying these designs in the form of presentations, prototypes, and design specifications
  • Designing and prototyping innovative and visually stunning interfaces




Skills

The successful candidate will have previous experience designing interfaces for mobile and desktop and will have experience designing high fidelity graphic assets in Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator etc. With the ability to design and prototype UI for mobile platforms (iOS or Android) you will also have an eye for design and UX consistency across platforms. With outstanding communication skills you will be adept at working collaboratively and will be open to giving and receiving feedback. You will also have experience of working in an agile/scrum development process . A basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies would be desirable but is not essential.
